Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice until well combined.
Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once the cake has cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar.
Cut into slices and serve.
