- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Small onion finelly chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 200 g (7oz) Diced serrano ham
- 400 g (14 oz) Frozen peas
- Salt and pepper to taste
Sauté the aromatics: In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft and fragrant. Add the ham: Stir in the diced ham and cook for 2–3 minutes, letting it release its flavor. Cook the peas: Add the frozen peas and stir well. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until the peas are tender. Season: Taste and adjust with salt and pepper. Be careful with the salt, as the ham is already salty. Serve: Plate and enjoy warm, either as a tapa, side dish, or light main.
