Ingredients

  • 1 Bottle of white wine: A dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or a Spanish white like Albariño works best.
  • ¼ cup Sugar: Adjust to taste.
  • 1 Orange: Thinly sliced.
  • 1 Lemon: Thinly sliced.
  • 1 Lime: Thinly sliced.
  • 1 Green apple: Cored and chopped.
  • 1 cup Berries: Such as strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries.
  • cup Soda or lemon-lime soda: For a bit of fizz.
  • Fresh mint leaves: Optional, for garnish.

Instructions

  • Prepare the Fruit: Thinly slice the orange, lemon, and lime. Core and chop the green apple. If using berries, ensure they are washed and ready.
  • Mix the Base: In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and simple syrup. Stir well to ensure the syrup is fully dissolved.
  • Add the Fruit: Add the sliced orange, lemon, lime, chopped apple, and berries to the pitcher. Stir to combine the fruits with the wine mixture.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together. For best results, let it sit overnight.
  • Add Fizz: Just before serving, add the soda or lemon-lime soda to the pitcher. Stir gently.
  • Serve: Serve the sangria over ice, ensuring each glass gets a good mix of fruit and liquid. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

You can simply use a sparkling wine instead of adding soda
